Here at The Dresser Shoppe, painting and designing furniture is our passion! We love the challenge of bringing new life into used furniture using paint. I started out painting furniture, for our house as newlyweds and fresh out of college our budget was tight! It was a fun hobby and escape from my busy career as a math teacher. I discovered quickly that people really loved my work, and were asking me to paint their own furniture so I decided to turn my hobby into a business and began selling pieces locally. Pretty soon we had painted inventory in every room of our house! We would sell out every week and my phone would ring constantly with people acquiring about my pieces. Deciding to leave my teaching career and pursue The Dresser Shoppe full time was a big leap but I am so glad I’m doing what I love!

Now, The Dresser Shoppe has sold over 500 dressers and we have expanded into a 6,000 sqft warehouse full of fabulous inventory! I am excited to share my passion with all of you and excited to see what the future holds for Dresser Shoppe!
